Gabriele Boccaccini
세계적으로 저명한 제2성전기 유대교 및 초기 랍비 문헌 전문가로서 미시간 대학교(University of Michigan)의 교수로 있다. 그는 세계적인 학술회의가 된 에녹 세미나(Enoch Seminar)의 설립자이다. 특히 에녹계 문헌 연구에 있어서 독보적인 전문가로서, 지금까지 출간된 저서로는 Enoch and the Mosaic Torah: The Evidence of Jubilees (Eerdmans, 2009), Enoch and Qumran Origins: New Light on a Forgotten Connection (Eerdmans, 2005), Roots of Rabbinic Judaism (Eerdmans, 2001), Beyond the Essene Hypothesis: The Parting of the Ways between Qumran and Enochic Judaism (Eerdmans, 1998) 등이 있다.

달라스 신학교에서 신약학으로 STM 학위를 받았고, Highest Honor로 졸업했다. 담임 목회자로 미국에 있는 이민 교회들을 섬겼고, 현재는 실리콘밸리 IT 스타트업에서 Business Intelligence 디렉터 및 Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary에서 조교수로 활동하고 있다. Journal of Theological Studies, Biblica, Novum Testamentum, Journal for the Study of the New Testament, Journal for the Study of the Old Testament, Religions, Journal of Ancient Judaism, Journal of Greco-Roman Christianity and Judaism 등 다수의 학술지에 논문들을 출판했다. 사랑하는 아내와 세 자녀들과 함께 달라스에 거주하며 일과 연구에 힘쓰고 있다.
