‘진심 어린’이라는 뜻을 지닌 ‘Heartfelt’에 ‘Hot’을 추가해 만든 ‘핫펠트’라는 이름처럼 그녀는 뜨거운 진심이 담긴 음악을 하는 아티스트다. 2007년 그룹 원더걸스 멤버로 데뷔하여 2014년 핫펠트로서 발표한 첫 솔로앨범인 [Me?]로 새로운 모습을 선보이며, 이후 꾸준히 ‘나란 책(Read Me)(Feat. PUNCHNELLO)’ 와 ‘위로가 돼요 (Pluhmm)’, ‘Happy Now (Feat. 문별 of 마마무)’ 등을 발표, 탄탄한 실력과 내공으로 본인만의 이야기를 다채롭게 풀어내는 아티스트로서 대중들의 관심과 사랑을 받고 있다.

본업은 음악이고 취미로 타로를 본다. 모든 예술을 사랑하고 모든 것은 예술이 될 수 있다고 믿는다. 글을 쓰는 것이 조금은 편해지기를 기대하며 글을 쓰는 글쟁이 꿈나무. 첫 정규앨범이자 책인 『1719』를 펴냈다.
