국책연구기관의 연구원으로 재직 중이던 당시 기관의 출장비 횡령 사실을 고발했다. 미국 University of Illinois at Chicago(UIC)에서 금융공학 석사학위를 받았으며, 연구 분야는 사회책임투자(Socially Responsible Investing: SRI), 부패방지의 경제적 효과, 내부고발 등이다. 저서로는 『New iPad』(공저, 길벗, 2012), 『iBooks Author』(공저, 코드미디어, 2001) 등이 있으며, 최근 연구로 “Bullying, Social Support, and Satisfaction with the Decision to Blow the Whistle”(the 28th International Congress of Applied Psychology 발표, 2014)가 있다.
