서울대학교 전기컴퓨터공학부에서 학, 박사 학위를 취득하고 삼성디스플레이에서 디스플레이 관련 신기술개발을 하였다. 현재는 성균관대학교 정보통신대학에서 연구교수로 재직 중이다.

He received his B.S. and Ph. D degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Seoul National University. He was engaged in emerging display technology development at Samsung Display and is currently a research professor at the Sungkyunkwan University College of Information and Communication Engineering.
