저자는 국제 건설 프로젝트에서의 클레임 및 분쟁 해결 경험을 갖춘 전문가입니다. 그는 영국, 유럽, 중동, 아시아 및 북미 지역에서 다양한 규모의 프로젝트에서 활동하였으며, 공항, 발전소, 해상 석유 및 가스, 조선, 병원, 철도, 도로, 교량, 고층 건물 등 다양한 분야에서 금전 클레임 및 공기연장 관련 작업을 전문적으로 수행해 왔습니다. 특히 삼성건설 근무 당시 싱가포르와 카타르에서 진행된 프로젝트를 포함하여 다수의 클레임 협상에 기여하였으며, 이러한 프로젝트에서는 1,200일에 달하는 공기 연장 및 1억 60만 파운드에 이르는 보상을 성공적으로 이끌어냈습니다.
킹스 칼리지 런던에서 건설법 및 건설 분쟁 관련 석사 학위를 취득하였으며, 그의 석사 논문은 유럽 건설 법학회(European Society of Construction Law)에서 석사 논문상 2위를 수상하였고, 세계적으로 권위 있는 International Construction Law Review(ICLR)에도 게재되었습니다. 또한 국제적인 건설법 전문지에 다양한 논문을 게재하였으며, 현재 런던에 소재한 건설 분쟁 감정평가 전문 회사에서 근무하고 있습니다.
