미국 리폼드신학교의 교회사 교수이다. 웨스트민스터 총회에 관하여 손꼽히는 전문가로 알려져 있다. Confessing the Faith (2014), God's Ambassadors (2017), The Minutes and Papers of the Westminster Assembly, 1643-1653 (2012), Gospel-Shaped Marriage: Grace for Sinners to Love Like Saints (2022) 등을 쓰거나 편집했다.
