현재 부산외국어대학교 아시아대학(인도지역통상)에서 강의를 하고 있으며, 국립부산대학교에서 국제통상석사와 박사를 받았으며 국립부경대학교에서 경영학사를 받았다. 또한 영국 University of Westminster에서 Diploma in Business English를 받았다. 경력으로 해외마케팅 및 해외영업을 독일기업(Continental Group)과 이태리기업(USCO Group) 등에서 약 20년간 경험을 바탕으로 현재 부경테크상사를 창업하여 e-business와 무역업을 운영하고 있다. 또한 미래경영경제연구원에서 글로벌 경제 및 경영에 관한 연구영역을 넓히고 있다. 2022년 1월에 Best paper award(International Academy of Global Business and Trade)를 수상하였다.

주요 저서로 『스마트 국제무역실무』(2021), 『국제 마케팅』(2021) 등이 있으며, 해외 SSCI 게재 논문으로 「Supply chain resilience and operational performance amid COVID- 19 supply chain interruptions」(2022, Journal of Growing Science), 「The effects of dynamism, relational capital, and ambidextrous innovation on the supply chain resilience of U.S. firms amid COVID-19」(2022, Journal of Operation Supply Chain Management), 「Building Supply Chain Resilience and Market Performance through Organizational Culture: An Empirical Study Utilizing the Stimulus- Organism-Response Model」(2022, Journal of East Asian Trade) 등이 있다.
