Nora Krug
1977년 독일 출생. 작가, 일러스트레이터. 전쟁과 역사와 죄의식에 대한 성찰을 감동적인 그래픽 서사로 구현해낸 『나는 독일인입니다』로 2018년 전미도서비평가협회상을 수상했다. 그 외의 작품으로 2차 세계대전 중 살아남은 일본인 조종사의 생을 다룬 짧은 그래픽 전기 『가미카제』가 있다. 이 작품은 『The Best American Comics』(2012)에 수록되었다. 모리스 센닥 재단, 풀브라이트 재단, 존 사이먼 구겐하임 기념 재단, 폴록-크래스너 재단 펠로로 선정되어 지원받았고, 현재 뉴욕 파슨스 디자인 스쿨 부교수로 재직 중이다. 가족과 함께 브루클린에서 살고 있다.
