데이비드 솔로이의 부커상 수상작이라서 관심이 생겨서 주문도 하고 읽기 시작하였는데 막상 읽기 시작하면서 참 난해하고 읽기가 어렵다는 생각이 많이 들었었다. 그러나 참고 중반부를 넘어서자 마치 언제 그랬냐는 듯 어느새 빠져들게 되었다.
