KBS, a Korean media company, has featured this book in a documentary they made recently. And that is how I became to know about this book. Explaining the economy with demographics is really a good insight. Many graphs in the book really helped me a lot to grasp what the author is trying to say.

The only thing that I did not take from the author is the approach that this is all about a cycle: a seasonal cycle. The increase of population of the world has ever been increasing until now. I believe that we will be reaching a saturation point, but do not think this is a cyclic event.

The economy is basically comprised of sellers and buyers. Therefore, the demographics is really an important factor. But not every one is equal in economy. The have’s and the have-not’s. Yes, the problem definition is right. But is it a solution? Maybe not.
