주인공이 Tooth Fairy로부터 받은 25센트를  가지고 상점이나 친구들에게서 물건을 사고 환불받는 반복되는 과정을 통해 동전에 대해서 교육시키는 내용이다. 미국여행을 앞둔 아이들에게 유용한 표현이라고 하겠다. 변덕스러운 우리 주인공은 물건을 샀다가 계속 환불받는데 이야기에 나오는 모든 사람들이 참 친절하게 환불해준다. 25센트짜리 동전을 5센트짜리 10센트짜리 1센트짜리로 바꿔 받으면서 덧셈연습도 할 수 있다. 반복되는 표현이 많아 교육적으로 참 좋다고 생각한다.

googles - And there I bought Lupe's red goggles because they looked so cool.

과거 완료 - I hadn't had those goggles long when I was surprised to find, they didn't feel right.

flip over - When Jim and I found Lupe, she was flipping over at Kenny's.

exchange - She was happy to have the goggles back in exchange for 25 pennies.

now that - Now that I had my money back, I thought about what to do.

by now / pretty

: By now I was pretty tired from all the buying and returning I did.

new kind - This was an idea of a whole new kind.
