We are all worried about the instability of the current civilization of the world, not just the U.S.A. Nevertheless, the author is yet another one who is seriously concerned about the directions and consequences of the recent history of U.S. since 1970es.

I tend to agree with the author on the problems and criticisms that he raises.

The books is a bit verbose. The length of the book could be an indicator on how serious the situation is today.
