엉뚱하고 유쾌한 8살 아이 클레멘타인의 일상을 유쾌하게 그린 이야기로 보는 내내 미소가 지어진다.

클레멘타인은 상상력이 풍부하고 예술적 재능을 가진 초등학생이다. 그는 종종 충동적인 행동을 해서 예상치 못한 상황에 빠지기도 하지만 항상 선하게 행동한다. 이 책에서 학교와 가정에서 겪는 다양한 에피소드들을 유쾌하게 전한다.

대화 중심이고 문장이 짧아 읽기 수월한 편이라 초등 아이들부터 재밌게 읽을 수 있을 것 같다.

아이가 요즘 이 책 주인공 클레멘타인을 너무 좋아해서 구매하게 되었습니다.

클레멘타인은 동네에서 볼 수 있는 아이들과는 달리 굉장히 기발하고 원기 왕성하고 자유로운 영혼의 소유자라서 아이가 뭔가 다른 상상력을 펼칠수 있도록 도와주는 것 같습니다. 상상력과 호기심을 자극하는 책은 늘 주변에 두고 자극받을 수 있게 해주고 있는데 이 첵의 주인공이 딱 그런 캐릭터라서 저도 맘에 들곤 하네요. 문제아와 모범생의 잣대를 다시끔 생각해보게 하는 책인 것 같습니다.

아이 영어학원 노블 교재라 구매했어요. 상당히 유명한 챕터북 시리즈입니다. 클레멘타인 챕터북 시리즈 가운데 첫번째 책이에요. 

Clementine is a child who possesses an innocent and sometimes mischievous personality. While she loves her mom, dad, and siblings dearly and seems like an ordinary child who enjoys school and gets along well with friends, she occasionally struggles to concentrate in class and finds it difficult to focus on other things when she becomes interested in one thing. From the teacher's perspective, she may appear as a restless child who has trouble focusing in class and occasionally causes issues. As a result, Clementine is often called to the principal's office. However, deep down, she is a genuinely warm and kind-hearted child, and ultimately, Clementine's unique and sincere problem-solving methods often lead to positive outcomes.
