올해 처음으로 그 유명한 usborne reading 시리즈를 접해보았다. 학생의 수준을 고려해 고른 책인데 한페이지에 2~4줄밖에 없는데도 단어가 쉬운 편이 아니다. 본 reading 시리즈를 들어가기전 그 예비단계인데도 말이다.

이 이야기는 중국에서 천년넘게 전해 내려오는 '화룡정점'의 유래에 대한 내용이다.다른 리딩시리즈와 구별되는 것은 동화책 문장과 함께 그림에 말풍선을 이용해 한,두문장 정도이지만 회화문장을 집어넣었다는 것이다. 마치 만화처럼 말이다.

그림 상태도 좋고 내용도 마음에 드는 책이다.
