우리나라의 분실보관소 같은 방에서 물건들과 재미있게 노는 이야기이다. lost and found는 중학생이 되어서도 알려주지 않으면 모르는 아이들이 많으므로 뭐하는 곳인지 잘 알려주자. 가끔 책마다 배경 그림에 lost and found라고 많이 씌여져 있지만 분실물 보관소란 특정한 장소로 인식하고 넘어가는 아이는 드물다. 집고 넘어가 주어야 이해한다.

이 편에서도 아이들의 호기심을 자극할 수 있는 재밌는 내용으로 구성되어 있다. 도치 문장이라던지 관계대명사를 이용한 긴 문장도 나오지만 언젠가 넘어야 할 산이니 많이 들려주어 익숙해지게 한다.
