| What a wonderful book. I'm an adult, so I don't fit the target audience of 'young adult' reader, but I was still captivated by the writing. The book tells a compelling story of a young girl struggling to make sense of tragedy. My notion of what makes a great book may not be typical, although it seems the authorities on this subject have very good things to say. My idea of a great book is simple...two things: Number one, I can't seem to put it down. Check. Number two, I can see the story, not just read the words. Check. |
