대니의 생일과 관련된 에피소드다. 회화에 그대로 쓸 수 있는 표현이 나오고 또 외국 아이들의 생일에는 무슨 일들이 있는지 그 문화를 알 수 있다. 애들이 하는 놀이 대해서 살펴보자. Pin the tail놀이도 설명해 주자.그리고 생일날 먹는 음식도 많이 다르니 그것도 한 번 조사해 보자.
- 단어 정리 in a hurry - Danny was in a hurry. had to / dinosaur - He had to see his friend the dinosaur. would be / delighted - I would be delighted. ride - rode / museum - Danny rode the dinosaur out of the museum. help 사람 동사원형 - The chlldren helped Danny's father hang up balloons. give out - Danny's mother gave out party hats. 나 어때? - How do I look? would like to 동사원형- We would like to sing a song. cover - He sang, and everybody covered their ears. pin the tail / donkey - Let's play pin the tail on the donkey. on oneself - The dinosaur pinned the tail on himself! furniture - Please don't put your feet on the furniture. a dish of ice cream / each - Danny's mother and father gave each child a dish of ice cream. make a wish - First we have to make a wish! blow out - They blew out the candles. 여태까지 최고의 ~였어 - This is the best birthday party I have ever had.

[I Can Read] 시리즈 중에 아이가 가장 좋아하는 책입니다. 주인공 Danny 와 공룡이 생일 파티를 하는 내용~!! 처음에 스토리를 이해할 수 없어도 그림이 재밌게 표현 되어 있어 끝까지 집중하여 읽게 되네요. [I Can Read] my first 시리즈 비스킷처럼 시리즈 물로 많이 나와도 더 좋을텐데 두권정도 있더라구요. 아이가 주인공이라 대화문장도 쉽고 많이 접해본 내용이 많아서 아이들도 좋아하네요~~~ |
