This book's author wrote simple story but he want to depict this story to profound. The story of background is very awesome. (Reading background is your work.) Here's the main character, Mr.Stevens is a butler of Darlington Hall ,and also his father was too. Mr.Stevens seemed to be very unconcerned about his father.But he and his father identified their love when his father died. IT Was VERY TOUCHING! I want to suggest this book very much..! |

To Every Living, Existing Thing That is Interested In Reading My Review And The Book. I think reading this book is worth using our time & money. First of all (I Think It's Last), this book teaches you about love, friendship and lordship(?). The story between the main character, Mr. Stevens, and his father gives you thoughts about love between father and his son who had been so close to each other but didn't had the chance to know each other more better and care for each other. And from the meeting with Mr. Stevens and his old co-worker Miss Kenton, you can feel old peoples friendship in the old days that were really important to them. Having a meeting 20 yrs later is a really hard thing to do. 『I DON'T HAVE THAT MUCH TIME TO TYPE THIS WHOLE THING SO LONG THAT YOUR EYES WILL START TO GET RED, BITTER THAT YOU'LL HAVE TO CLOSE YOUR EYES FOR AN HOUR JUST TO BLINK. president＞＞When i first read this book i feel little bit boring but i knew this book is really touching because about some scenes.The scene that a butler is sick but thinking about household chores, i feel a butler is very faithful and skillful person in his job. Some several scenes show very touching scenes. I think this book's general mood is calm and also make us thinking about confidence of people. |

shrek's wife- The remains of the day. Firstly, I don't have any backgroud about U.K, some scens were difficult to understand. However, the story about a butler was very fresh to me. Honestly, this book is little bit boring to read in English. However, some scenes catch my eyes. For example, when Mr.stevens,very strict butler, expresses paternity to his son, I really impressed. In contrast, he look poor also. This book is vulnerable to recommend. I want to watch this movie too. |
