| I can't begin to explain the amazing journey that this novel takes it's reader on. At times you want to cry, other times laugh and at other times feel such extreme anger that you have to put it down and come back to it. Ultimately, you fall in love with the well developed characters and the story of generations of human beings that all belong to the same family tree. I can't recommend this book enough. There is something about being witness to the personal stories of many generations of people throughout history, some who know each other, and some who don't that is healing in a way that I never expected. |
