the remains of the day is a very great book in lots of ways. first, it shows the history of the time taking place. it gives of some information about the british and german war. second, it shows us the british buttler culture. It can be hard for a korean to understand the culture of buttlers but through this book i learned more about them and was able to know more about british culture. finally, it is somewhat touching. stevens love against his father is very respectful.
