| The main story in the series is about the Gods of Olympus and the Giants(sons of the earth goddes Gaia) fighting each other. In this book, it's about going on a quest to defeat the giant Alcyoneus and bring back the golden eagle. It's a very exciting sequence to The Heroes of Olympus1 The Lost Hero. It's very funny also but I think people who had liked the Percy Jackson series would like it best, because this series is actually a sequence to the Percy Jackson series. Remember the prophecy Rachel said at the end of 'the last Olympian '? It applies to this series. I like it of course but there are people who may not. People who don't like fantasies and myths may not like this book. Now I'll say enough of the story and start explaining the book. It's background on myths in the modern world. And the main characters are usually teenage demigods. There are a lot of monsters, gods and mythical creatures, such as unicorns, and pegasus's. There are a lot of funny scenes and frightening ons as well. I could go on and on and on but then I'll be explaining the whole book, and you won't have to buy the book, hahaha(uh, no offense). |
