as many - Two birthdays meant two cakes and twice as many presents every year. leave out - "Can't leave summer out,"said the Little Princess. as nice - But they were not as nice. word - so she had a word with the Prime Minister, and she had more birthdays put into the diary. peg - The Maid gave her a broken peg. knot - The General gave her a piece of string with a knot in it. rotten - These are rotten presents. spit - The Little Princess spat out that day's birthday cake. currants - It's got no currants or anything in it! mantelpiece - And last week's birthday cards were still on the mantlepiece.
afford - ~because they couldn't afford the presents. squeal - "Wheee!" squealed the Little Princess. on - Lovely, what day shall I have my unbirthday on?
어린아이들은 어쩌면 생일이 두번 이라면 더 좋아할 지도 모른다. 우리의 작은 공주는 두번이 더 좋을 것 같아서 생일을 두번 지내기로 했다가 점점 늘려서 일년 내내 생일로 만들어 버렸다. 매일 파티에 케잌에 깨끗한 옷이 갖추어 져야 한다. 결국 생일이 아닌 날 하나를 정해 축하하기로 한다. ㅋ 공주의 캐릭터가 정말 귀여운 것 같다. 그림도 cd녹음 상태도 내용의 표현도 모두다 마음에 든다. |
