리머스가 마지막에 쏟아내는 스파이 세계의 어두운 진면목처럼 처음부터 끝까지 고독하고, 인정사정 없는 쓰디쓴 소설. 

시종일관 차분해서 지루할 수 있지만, 현실적이고 깊이 있는 스토리 전개로, 007류의 스파이물을 극도로 싫어하는 나에게는 아주 잘 맞는 작품이었다.
