실제 있었던 인물인 헝가리에서 태어나 미국으로 이민온 탈출의 귀재 Harry Houdini의 이야기이다. 인상 깊었던 부분은 어머니에게 번 돈을 동전으로 가져가 무릎위에 쏟아놓으면서 행복해하는 장면이었다. 가난해서 학교도 못갔지만 집안은 화목했나보다. 참 부럽다.

spun - Ehrich told his mother "Shake me. I'm magic." Shiny silver quarters spun from this body and danced on the floor!

scoop up - Mother and son laughed for joy as they scooped up the rent money.

passion - And year after year, his passion for magic grew.

take apart - He took apart locks and learned how they worked.

struggle - After years of struggling, Houdini was finally famous.

glittering - At home, he slowly spilled the glittering gold coins onto his mother's lap.

career - But he had much to be proud of in his career.

pack - People packed theaters to see his act.
