Stunning and beautifully written. It is a survival story of a little marsh girl who grew up to be a strong, independent woman, but who still had to fight over the prejudices of the villagers who did accept her as who she was. The plot is intriguing. Each chapter consists of just a couple of pages. So easy to read and you can be quickly immersed in the story.
