현재 미국 펜실바니아대학교(University of Pennsylvania) 사회정책대(Social Policy & Practice)의 교수로 있으면서 Center for Social impact Strategy와 Nonprofit Leadership Program의 책임을 맡고 있다. 필란트로피, 비영리경영, 사회적기업가정신 등이 주요 관심 분야이며, 저서로는 Strategic Giving: The Art and Science of Philanthropy, Building for the Arts(공저), On Being Nonprofit 등이 있다.
