미국 Western Conservative Baptist Seminary(M. Div., Th.. M.)와 Fuller Theological Seminary(Ph. D.)를 졸업하였으며, 현재는 Southern Baptist Theological Seminary의 신약해석학 교수로 재직 중이다.
