성균관대학교 연기예술학과를 연출전공(연기예술학사)으로 졸업하고, 영국 University of London. Goldsmiths MA Musical Theatre/Producing 석사 졸업(Master of Art)했다. 송담대학교 뮤지컬 연기과 외래교수를 지냈으며, 현재는 가천대학교 연기예술학과 객원교수, 경희대학교 연극영화과 외래교수이다. 연출 작품으로 London, Georgewood Theatre ［Arirang］, 뮤지컬 ［모차르트］ 연출부, London, Westend Tristan Bates Theatre ［In My Journey］, London, Westend Tristan Bates Theatre ［Allowed Me to Upgrade You］ 이외 다수 작품이 있다. 저서로 『세계뮤지컬의 이해』(텍스트북스, 2017)가 있다.
