남동침례신학교에서 박사학위를 받았고, Global Scholars에서 글로벌 파트너십 부회장을 맡고 있다. 또한 Christian Scholars Formation Series(World Evangelical Alliance)의 고등편집자이며, “미국 복음주의 학회와 세계: 보다 글로벌한 실천에 대한 도전(The American Evangelical Academy and the World: A Challenge to Practice more Globally),”(JETS 57 [2014])의 저자이기도 하다.
