J. J. Lee is a Ph. D in translation studies and got her M. A. in interpretation and translation. While working as a simultaneous interpreter at YTN Cable News channel for 15 years, she covered numerous international news including such historic events as the 1997 Asian IMF crisis and the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001. She spent 13 years as adjunct professor at Ewha GIST and has a number of publications including, TV Broadcasting Simultaneous Interpreter - Works like a Journalist and talks like an Announcer(2011), Translation of Sound and Images - Case Study on TV News Translations(2008), etc.
