미국 조지아주 케네소 주립대학교(Kennesaw State University)의 미술교육과 조교수로 재직 중이다. 서울대학교 서양화과 학사학위와 미술교육 석사학위취득했으며, 미국 인디애나주 인디애나 대학교(Indiana University)에서 미술교육과 비교교육으로 복수 박사학위(Dual Degree)를 받았다. 주요 연구 실적으로는 “AI literacy in art education: Exploring art teacher education students’ perspectives with Google Teachable Machine” in Art Education Journal (2025)과 “STREAM:Storytelling and robotics into STEAM education” in the International Journal of Art &Design Education(2025) 등이 있다. 관심 연구 분야는 예술통합교육, 교사교육이다.
