Junhyung Lee is a media cultural studies researcher. He earned his Ph.D. from Sogang University's Department of Communication with a dissertation on populist politics in Korean media. He currently serves as a policy specialist at the National Union of Media Workers. He is also active as a researcher with the Sinchon Centre for Cultural Politics Research. Beyond textual analysis, his research integrates cultural studies, populism theory, and state theory, applying them analytically.
