책소개

"Torn Book Plastic and Spilled Coffee" is a heartwarming story about a day in the lives of two children, Umji and Duri, who experience both small and big mistakes during their trip to the unfamiliar city of Seoul. Through encounters with new people, the dazzling sights of the city, and unexpected situations, the children become flustered and make mistakes?but these very experiences teach them the meaning of responsibility, empathy, and consideration. Duri, who unknowingly opened the plastic wrapping of a book at a bookstore, and Umji, who spilled coffee while running around?these are common mistakes any child could make. But this story gently shows how one's attitude and actions afterward are what truly matter. This book delivers the important message that making mistakes isn’t something to be ashamed of?it’s an opportunity to grow. It also includes discussion questions for parents and children, making it a perfect read for families who want to build empathy and self-awareness together. Recommended for parents who want to nurture emotional development, and for children who seek heartfelt, meaningful stories.
