서평(Book Review)

Glory and the Other Girl is a touching portrayal of two young women from vastly different worlds whose friendship becomes the catalyst for mutual transformation. Annie Hamilton Donnell skillfully breaks down the class barriers of early 20th-century America through the genuine connection between her protagonists, delivering a compelling message about the value of education and the power of support. As the privileged Glory helps factory worker Diantha pursue her studies, she too discovers renewed purpose in her own life, illustrating that true friendship is never one-sided. The novel beautifully demonstrates how small acts of kindness can alter the course of someone's life in profound ways. With its uplifting message about pursuing dreams together rather than alone, this timeless story offers hope and inspiration to readers across generations.
