출판사 리뷰

"This book is an excellent starting point for anyone looking to build real foundational knowledge in venture capital and startups. The authors explain core ideas with clarity, depth, and practicality, giving readers a framework they can carry forward as they deepen their understanding. A highly valuable guide for those who want to learn the fundamentals the right way." - Stephen West, Partner, StepStone Group, a private markets investment firm with over $200 billion assets under management (AUM)

"Having backed hundreds of managers, we know that successful ones share a common trait: they understand the full picture? and adapt with speed. Mahendra and Tim bring their hands-on experience as well as insights from the best investors to help understand the LP mindset, and the art of managing funds. For any manager seeking to build an institution, not just a fund, this is a must read." - David York, Chairman, Top Tier Capital Partners, a Fund of Funds with $8 billion in assets, and over 350 fund investments

"An indispensable guide that pulls back the curtain on the venture capital industry. Mahendra and Tim provide the transparency and tactical depth that both emerging managers and established LPs need to succeed in today’s market." - Beezer Clarkson, Sapphire Partners, a Fund-of-Funds with over $1 billion committed across more than 200 emerging and established venture funds

"Most venture books polish the myth. This one reveals the machinery: how capital actually meets ideas and flourishes. It’s a clear-eyed guide for those who want to engage, not admire. For the next generation of managers, this is required reading." - Chris Douvos, Founder of Ahoy Capital, a Silicon Valley based Fund-of-Funds

“Venture capital fuels global innovation and economic growth. This book delivers a clear, practical roadmap for founders and investors navigating the forces shaping the high-stakes world of private markets.” - Bobby Franklin, President and CEO of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA)

"A masterful synthesis of how venture capital functions. I highly recommend this book for students and practitioners alike who want to master the world of startups and venture capital."

- Ilya Strebulaev, Professor of Finance at Stanford Graduate School of Business and co-author of The Venture Mindset: How to Make Smarter Bets and Achieve Extraordinary Growth

"Demystifying the venture capital industry is key to its future. This book strips away the noise and provides the rigorous, modern framework that today’s most ambitious new managers need to succeed." - Maryam Haque, Executive Director of Venture Forward, a non-profit arm of National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) that aims to diversify the venture capital industry through education, research, and community-building programs.
