Just as the Author wrote Himself into His story two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ the King will again enter the closing scene to foil the Jester before the Day of the Lord's wrath.The first book in this series, Rend the Heavens ...and Come Down (2025), followed a personal road trip through the cultural landscape of the past sixty years, closing with a metaphor of Christ's return as the final scene of Divine theater. This story, Rend the Veil ...the Stage is Set, expands the theme of a historical drama with the Kingdom of God coming to completion at the return of Jesus Christ.Beginning as a peace accord, an agreement for Israel's protection will soon become a covenant with death (Isaiah 28:18). Just as Abraham made a covenant of protection with Abimelech king of Gerar at Beersheba (Hebrew - Well of Seven, or Completion), the covenant of peace will initiate a final seven-year scene completing God's providential story. The climax of those events for the body of believers occurs on a soon coming but as yet unknown hour and day of Rosh Hashanah (Festival of Trumpets).
