This is the story of a girl who grew up in a Minneapolis suburb in the 1960s and became a caterer to the rock stars whose music first reached her through her pink transistor radio. And "catering" here means precisely that: catering to a star's every whim: condoms for Motley Crue, underwear and socks for Chris Isaak, a bottle of white wine for Gregg Allman, and rolling papers for too many artists to count.
