Samanta Schweblin
1978년 아르헨티나 부에노스아이레스에서 태어났다. 2010년 영국의 권위 있는 문예지 [그랜타]에서 꼽은 ‘35세 이하 최고의 스페인어권 작가 22인’에 선정되는 등 일찍부터 라틴아메리카 문학을 이끌어갈 차세대 작가로 주목받았다. 주요 작품으로 카사데라스아메리카스상을 수상하고 2019년 인터내셔널 부커상 후보에 오른 단편집 『입속의 새』(2009), 티그레후안상과 셜리잭슨상을 수상하고 2017년 인터내셔널 부커상 최종후보에 오른 중편 『피버 드림』(2014), 2020년 다시 한번 같은 상 후보에 오른 장편 『켄투키』(2018) 등이 있다. 현재 독일 베를린에 거주하며 작품활동
