「Travel By Train In March」
Dear children, How wonderful would it be to travel by train in March, when sprouts are out all green here and there? I wrote a children's poem called 'Traveling by Train in March'. This poem is based on a story of my meeting a boy and enjoying spending time with him while I was traveling by train. I chose this title also as the title of the whole book. The pictures included inside are also interesting. People say it is easy to understand my children's poems even for those who do not know much about poems, which I think is a good thing. I hope this one is also easy to understand. My wife and I live with four cats. We gave them names - Kami, Bomi, Sami, and Mimi - and they are a part of our family. There is a poem about each of the four cats in this book as well. The cats seemed to be happy when they heard the poem. Isn't this funny? I appreciate professor Cho, Byung-Eun, who translated my children's poems with her whole heart. I hope this book is read by many children all over the world. Like music, poetry has no borders, right? I also appreciate artist Kwang-Bae Kim, who drew wonderful illustrations for my book.
