Seo Young Yoon has graduated from Emory University, USA with a B.A. in English and continued her pursuit of academia with MA in TEFL/ICS in Columbia International University, USA. She received a Ph.D. in TESOL at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. She is a lecturer in the department of English education at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and serves as an editor for Korea Association of Multimedia Assisted Language Learning (KAMALL). Her research areas include multimedia assisted language learning (MALL) for English spoken skills, blended learning, and e-learning. She published books and papers in a variety of ELT subjects such as “Road to Debate: Introduction,” “A study on voice recordings and feedback through BBS in teaching and learning pronunciation,” “The perspectives and effectiveness of blended learning in L2 writing of Korean university students,” “A study on Korean test-takers’ Perceptions of Test Fairness in iBT TOEFL,” etc.
Chung Hyun Lee is a professor in the Department of English education at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and holds a Ph.D. in media technology for TEFL (University of Newcastle, UK). He is also the president of the Korea Association of Multimedia Assisted Language Learning (KAMALL). His research areas include MALL, Web-Based instruction (WBI), blended learning, and teacher training. He has published many books and papers on the areas of his interests such as “The Use of Multimedia in ELT,” “All in One Series-A Whole Language Course for Learners of English,” “A study on the effectiveness of online/offline English language learning at university level,” “Computers and four language skills development,” “Communicative activities applicable to CALL: Based on computer simulations,” “A study of a model of a teacher training program for effective multimedia English education,” “The effective contents and teaching methods for online multimedia English education course,” etc.
