Author Lee Byoung-ok Lee Byoung-ok is currently a professor at the department of dance at Yongin University where he lectures on the history of Korean dance, folk dance and anthropology, and dance criticism. He graduated from Seoul National University of Education, and then received a B.A. in the history of literature from Korea University, and Master of Education majoring in folk studies from Chung-Ang University. He received his Ph.D. in Science from Kyonggi University with a thesis on The History of Ancient Korean Dance. Lee has held many important positions in the academic dance circle including chairman of the Korean Society of Dance History and the Korean Society of Asian Arts, and is currently serving as chairman of the Society of Korean Performance Art and Culture. He has also written many books and articles including Comparative Study of Seungmu by Type, Study of Salpurichum by Type, Study of the History of Ancient Korean Dance, Korean Folk Studies, Study of Songpa Sandaenori, and Collected Articles of Lee Byoung-ok.
Translator Cho Yoon-jung Cho Yoon-jung grew up in Australia where she studied architecture at New South Wales University and received a Master of Applied Linguistics from Sydney University. She is a part-time lecturer at Ewha Womans University Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation.
