백석예술대학교 영상학부 애니메이션학과 강사이다. 건국대학교 대학원 일본문화·언어학과에서 일본문화전공으로 박사 학위를 받았다. 주요 관심분야는 동아시아 애니메이션, 문화산업론, 영상사회학이다. 주요 논저로는 「일본의 애니메이션 성지순례와 도시의 전략 : 시즈오카현 누마즈 시의 관광객 증감 및 상업시설의 형상 변화를 중심으로」(일본문화연구 73집, 2020), 「A Study on the Birth of a Holy Land and the Role of Local Residents:The failure to establish a memorial facility for the victims of the Kyoto Animation’s arson attack in 2019」(Journal of East－Asian Urban History Vol.2 No.2, 2020) 등이 있다.
