홍익대학교 패션대학원 부교수다. 한양대학교 의류학과 졸업 후 영국 런던패션대학에서 석사 학위를, 로열칼리지오브아트에서 박사 학위를 받았다. 사회 문화적 관점에서 디지털 패션과 지속 가능 패션을 연구하고 있다. 《내일의 옷: 지속 가능한 패션 해설서》(2025)를 저술했고, “Restructuring situated bodily practices: Understanding relationship of dress, body, and identity in virtual dressing practice”(2025), “Re- engineering nubi: Design-driven approach to cultural sustainability in Korean fashion/textile practice”(2024), “Traditional fashion practice and cultural sustainability” (2023), “Development of education for sustainable fashion design using a challenge-based approach”(2023) 등 다수의 논문을 A&HCI, SCOPUS, KCI 학술지에 게재했다.
