저자 소개 1
Richard Reeves
세계적인 싱크 탱크인 브루킹스 연구소 경제학 분야 선임 연구원. 1969년 영국에서 태어나 옥스퍼드 대학을 졸업하고 워릭 대학에서 박사 학위를 받았다. 2010~2012년 영국 부총리 산하 전략국장을 역임했고 런던에 있는 정치 싱크 탱크 데모스(Demos)와 공공 정책 연구소(IPPR)에서 활동했다. 이후 미국으로 건너와 2016년에 미국 시민권을 얻었다. 2017년 이 책에서 펼친 연구를 비롯해 계층과 불평등 연구로 「폴리티코」에서 선정한 ‘미국의 사상가 50인’에 이름을 올렸다.
현재 브루킹스 연구소에서 미래 중산층 협의체 소장 및 아동 가족 센터 부소장을 맡고 있다.
