Le Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter is on the left bank of the Seine and includes both the 5th and 6th arrondissements. It has been the student quarter ever since the Middle Ages when the Sorbonne was first created. As well as many prestigious schools and libraries, there are bookshops, art-shops, art-house cinemas and cafes.
