꽃들도 그들만의 빛이 있을까요? 작가는 꽃들 사이사이에서도 빛의 모습을 발 견해 냅니다. 작가가 의도하는 빛의 세계는 꽃들의 문양에서도 하나님의 빛의 세계가 보입니다. 꽃들 사이사이로 문양을 만들어내는 창조의 빛은 작가의 주제이며, 또한 희망입니다. 꽃들 사이사이에는 빛이 너울을 쓰듯 걸려 있고, 그 빛을 머리에 쓴 꽃들은 땅을 솟아 일어나는 모습을 보입니다.

작가가 카메라를 조작하면서 빛을 찍어내는 방법을 선택한 이유는 바로 카메라가 사 물의 빛을 인식하는 광학기라는 점 때문입니다. 빛은 가시광선의 일곱 가지 무지개 색깔의 영 역 가운데에서 사물이 받아들이고 내뱉는 색의 구조에 따라 그 모양이 피사체에 대한 우리의 인식을 달리합니다. 그러나 카메라가 인식하는 빛의 세계는 사람이 인식하는 빛의 세계보다 훨씬 감도가 깊고 세미할 수가 있습니다. 작가는 이 점을 카메라에서 인식합니다. 그래서 카메 라에서 인식할 수 있는 빛의 범위를 최대한 깊이 담아내보고자 하는 것이 작가의 의도입니다. 카메라 렌즈가 운동을 하고, 조리개와 셔터가 일정한 시간과 빛의 영역을 가짐으로써 작가는 모든 사물의 빛이 창조해내는 새로 끊임없는 운동의 모양을 포착해내는 것입니다.

우리 모두에겐 하나님께서 창조하신 손길이 있습니다. 하나님의 손길은 정말 아름다운 빛으로 나타나지요. 가끔 풀 한 포기를 보고, 날으는 새들을 보며, 푸른 숲을 보고, 파란 하늘을볼때면,그가운데광활히흐르는빛을발견할수가있지요. 그보다 정말 아름다운 건, 바로 꽃들의 노래랍니다. 우리가 꽃들을 아름답다고 바라보는 그 순간에도 꽃들은 창조주 하나님의 영광을 노래한답니다.

We all have a touch of God’s creation. The touch of God comes out as a truly beautiful light. Sometimes when we see a bunch of grass, a flying bird, a green forest, and a blue sky, we can find a light flowing out from them.
What is more beautiful is the song of flowers. Even at the moment when we see the beautiful flowers, they are singing of the glory of God the Creator.
