우석대학교 교육학과의 교수다. 평생교육과 세계시민교육을 연구하고 있으며, 지역사회 고등 · 평생교육사업에 참여하고 있다. 주요 논문으로는 “Relationship be tween educational mismatches and job satisfaction: evidence from Korean young employees’ lifelong learning”, “University faculty’s informal learning and professional reflections” 등 다수가 있다.
