It is no exaggeration to say that we live in an age of information overload. As Christians, we often find ourselves overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information, unsure of which direction to take. Although God has clearly shown us the way through the Bible, it often feels difficult to understand. Many people, confident in their religious beliefs, claim that their way is the right one. These claims are all very appealing. So, what should we follow in such times? The Reformers advocated “Ad fontes,” which means “back to the sources.” The ‘source’ they referred to is the Word of God, the Bible. No matter how attractive other claims and ideologies may be, we must keep the Bible at the center. However, we should not view the Bible merely literally, nor should we ignore the text and focus solely on symbolism. Therefore, while upholding traditional liturgy, we must also reform incorrect practices based on the teachings of Jesus.<br/><br/>This book was written to find answers to these concerns and questions. We need to discover God’s will through the Bible and consider how to apply it to our lives. This book aims not just to convey the content of the Bible but to help modern Christians understand and practice it. I hope that through this book, readers will gain a deeper understanding of God’s Word and find a way to transform their lives through it. I also hope this book will be a steadfast companion on their faith journey. I pray that God will bestow grace and wisdom upon many through this book. Thank you.

현재 수현교회 담임목사이며, 심리상담사인 동시에 실용음악을 가르치는 강사이다. 유치원 동창과 결혼하여 현재 아들 둘, 딸 하나를 둔 아빠이기도 하다. 혹독한 가난 속에서 노숙까지 하며 살아왔던 과거를 통한 경험들을 전재산이라 생각하고 있으며, 청소년기의 지독한 방황으로 누구보다 청소년에 대한 이해도가 높고, 관심 또한 많다. ‘AP부모교육 Now&Teens 국제지도자’이며, 방과후지도사, 자기주도학습지도사, 미술심리상담사, 원예심리상담사 등 지도·상담 관련 자격과 웹디자인 기능사, 컴퓨터 그래픽스 운용기능사 등 IT관련 자격증들을 갖고 있기도 하다. 평소 독서광으로 세 자녀와 함께 도서평론 블로그를 운영중이다.

저자는 10여년간 헬라어 성경을 한 번, 히브리어 성경을 두 번 읽을 정도로 원어성경 읽기에 재미와 감동을 느꼈으며, 자신이 느낀 그 감동을 다른 많은 이들 또한 경험할 수 있길 바라는 마음에 『왕초보 히브리어 펜습자 알파벳 따라쓰기』를 필두로 원어성경 교재 시리즈를 기획하게 되었다. 현재 일반 성도들도 히브리어와 헬라어에 더욱 쉽게 다가갈 수 있도록 끊임없이 연구하며 다양한 히브리어성경 읽기 교재와 헬라어성경 읽기 교재 집필과 편집 중에 있다.
