Kate Douglas Wiggin (1856?1923) and Nora Archibald Smith (1859?1934) were American educators and writers known for their contributions to children's literature. Born in the United States, the sisters believed in the power of storytelling to nurture young minds. Wiggin is best known for her novel Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, while Smith collaborated with her on numerous collections of folk and fairy tales. Together, they introduced generations of children to timeless stories from around the world.
