Fifty years have passed since the treatment of pharmacopuncture was first developed in Korea. Thanks to the effort of pioneers and forerunners of pharmacopuncturology, the treatment method has succeeded in being deeply rooted in Korea and is now ready for.

This book was written to serve following purposes.
1. To introduce Korean Pharmacopuncture to the English-seaking scholars interested in learning about Traditional Korean Medicine and Pharmacopuncture.
2. To help make pharmacopuncture accessible in foreign countries and help the scholars who are working hard to promote pharmacopuncture in foreign countries.
3. To provide other treatment options to medical or CAM practitioners who are having difficulty in treating hard-to-treat diseases.
4. To standardize related terminologies and methodological protocols for pharmacopuncture related research in English language.
